I am an experienced Integrative Counsellor and Psychotherapist, who is accredited with the BACP. Counselling can provide you with much needed clarity when life seems full up, with no room left to think. I provide a non-judgemental, safe and confidential space to explore issues that you are facing, to look more closely at the impact that these are having in your life and to begin to gain new perspectives. As an integrative practitioner I am able to work flexibly with you, with my work being informed by different approaches including Gestalt, Person-centred, Psychodynamic and CBT. This means that I can work in a way that will best suit your individual needs.
The issues I work with include lack of self-confidence, depression, anxiety, relationship issues, bereavement and loss, sexuality, gender and identity issues and traumatic events. If you are having problems with low mood, social anxiety, worry or more generalised anxiety I also have specialist knowledge in working with adults and young people using low-intensity CBT. This can provide you with the skills to challenge more negative ways of thinking and move forward with your goals.
I have worked within the NHS counselling members of staff, as a Counsellor and Low-intensity CBT therapist at Off the Record and as a Counsellor at a Sixth Form College in Bristol. I have also worked in private practice for over 8 years as a Life Coach with adults and young people. I received my Post Graduate Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy from the University of South Wales and also have a Post Graduate Certificate in Psychological Therapies Practice for Children, Young People and Families from the University of Exeter. I am an accredited member of the BACP and adhere to their code of conduct. Sessions last for 50 minutes and cost £60. I also offer an initial consultation at a reduced cost of £40, which is a great time to see if counselling is for you and whether I work in a style that suits you.
Please feel free to ring or email me for a chat and to ask any questions that you might have before booking an initial consultation.

I am an experienced counsellor and fully qualified Mindfulness teacher. My priority is to support you finding peace and deep connection to a sense of a ‘true self’ beyond any labels or beliefs that are socially constructed and support healing which comes from within you. All the answers you seek are waiting in the wisdom of your body.
I provide a warm, understanding and compassionate approach and it is my aim to build and nurture a relationship of trust and honesty to enable you to gain a sense of choice in your life. I offer a safe, supportive, friendly and confidential space for you to explore your feelings and a space to express yourself in the knowledge that I accept you as you are, without judgment.
I view therapy as a creative partnership: the relationship between us is the medium through which learning and development takes place. I believe that everyone has the ability to make changes in their lives and their thinking and, with support, can work towards a more contented and happy way of being. I am constantly in awe of the transformation that people can make through counselling. I feel privileged to be able to be a part of it.
will hold you on this journey of exploration and healing through a combination of talking, sensing and working with the body using approaches such as talking therapy, Internal Family Systems, Mindfulness and Somatic bodywork to help you towards wholeness. Together we start from the stance that your experience in all its uniqueness is the point of exploration. Exploration of the present moment experience gives us all we need to begin feeling whole again.
I have worked with black and minority ethnic groups in central Bristol for over 15 years. Specifically, in recent years I have been privileged to work with refugees and immigrants. I am familiar working with people from the LGBTQ+ community and issues that come up. I am a Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and abide by its ethical framework.
Sessions are £65 for 50 minutes and I offer an introduction session for £40.

I’m Jake, my pronouns are he/him. I am a qualified counsellor based in the Clifton/Redland area of Bristol. Clients describe me as calm, caring, supportive and understanding.
I’m an integrative counsellor, which means I’m trained in multiple ways of working, and together we can find the style which suits you best. I specialise in helping with anxiety of various kinds including generalised anxiety disorder, social anxiety, panic/anxiety attacks and separation anxiety.
You may want help with a specific issue in your life. Or our work might be to gain insight into formative experiences, and bring patterns of thought and behaviour to light. Or perhaps you feel you are already aware of the issues, but still cannot move beyond them? In this case we can take an experiential approach, gently working through the emotions and feelings until they no longer stand in your way.
I work in-person, online, and by phone. Please contact me for a free initial consultation.

Hello, my name is Kayla! I offer in person and online counselling. We can easily fall into feelings of despair, anxiety and self sabotage when met with life difficulties on top of unresolved emotions or trauma. This can be overwhelming, but with the right tools and a safe place to process; patterns can be identified, repeating cycles can be intercepted and changed, improving your emotional wellbeing, relationships and quality of life for the better. If you are fed up, tired of being in a slump or just want to understand yourself better and see change, now may be the time to start your therapeutic journey.
My areas of experience cover anxiety, overwhelm, anger, depression, trauma, abuse, dissociation, avoidance and suicidal ideation. I also have a special interest in parenting dynamics, parent/child issues and attachment disorders. I have experience working with a diverse spectrum of people across the UK.
An integrative approach to therapy acknowledges that everyone is unique, so it would be unrealistic to expect the exact same therapeutic approach to work for every person. By taking into account your personal frame of reference, your circumstances and the way you function and feel, I will collaborate with you and draw from the relevant approaches that best fit you.
Practising an integrative approach in counselling and psychotherapy involves combining and blending relevant theory and interventions. The modalities I draw from are person centred, psychodynamic and cognitive behavioural therapy. Meditations, creative therapy and movement may be present during our sessions too.
If you are feeling intense emotions, are grieving a loss, are anxious or overwhelmed with life, or anything else; please get in touch for a free online call!

Hi I’m Lucy a BACP accredited counsellor and I believe in the capacity for individuals to grow and develop a greater self-awareness through the therapeutic process. I offer a calm and confidential space for you to explore what has brought you to counselling.
I work using a Gestalt approach which means that there will be a focus on exploring your experience as it unfolds in the here and now of the sessions. This may include exploring current life situations as well as past experiences and how they might inform the present. Sometimes we can get stuck in fixed patterns or ways of being in our lives and counselling can be an opportunity explore new ways of being.
My aim is to create a safe environment for you to speak and be heard, to form the foundation of a trusting relationship and help raise awareness of your thoughts, feelings and behaviours and how they impact your relationship to yourself and others day to day. I believe that by gaining new insights into how you think and feel you will develop a stronger sense of yourself and live your life in a more fulfilling way.
For more information or to arrange a time for an introductory call contact me directly via email.

I'm a HCPC registered Clinical Psychologist which means my training and accreditation demand the highest level of rigour with respect to how I practice. I am trained to offer a range of therapies including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), but my main approach is called Intensive Short-term Dynamic Psychotherapy (ISTDP).
Most therapies will pay attention to feelings, but ISTDP puts the expression of emotion at the very centre of the process. This emphasis is a result of research consistently demonstrating the devastating impact of ignoring or suppressing emotions including persistent anxiety, numbness, self-criticism, physical health problems and a range of auto-immune conditions. Often these unhealthy patterns emerge in childhood when there is an absence of safety around the expression of feelings in key relationships. ISTDP helps people to overcome unconscious fear associated with expressing healthy emotions (such as sadness, happiness and anger). Not only can this lead to unwanted symptoms disappearing, it often results in profound positive changes in people's’ experiences of themselves & others.
What you get from me is an attentive and proactive ally. I am friendly and compassionate, but I won't passively observe unhelpful patterns that are barriers to change. Challenging when necessary and in solidarity with the part of you that knows things can be better, will be a key aspect of our relationship. Indeed, an authentic and meaningful relationship with each person I work with provides the secure foundation for self-exploration, discovery and the emergence of new possibilities.
What is the next step? Contact me to book a free 30-minute online consultation. We’ll briefly discuss your circumstances and what the main concerns are, and I’ll propose a plan for how we could approach these issues together in therapy. Having been the clinical lead of a national therapist matching service, I am also in a good position to advise you if I think there are other options that would suit you better than my approach. First and foremost it’s a chance for you to gauge whether I could be a helpful person to talk to. You can then go away and think about what you would like to do before committing to booking a first session.
Please feel free to email, call or text me if you have any questions or you would like to book an initial consultation.
